3 benefits of hiring a "virtual" design assistant

Freelance employees, independent contractors, virtual assistants, whatever the term may be, are all becoming increasingly popular and high in demand for businesses. Interior designers are also getting on board - hiring remote assistants (virtual assistants for lack of a better term) as opposed to an in-house assistant. They are essentially getting the benefits of a design assistant minus the extra body in your studio, along with a few perks on the side. Monday Mood | moon dreaming

In case you forgot, Saturday, July 20th, was National Moon Day. Ah, there's a day for everything it seems. But National Moon Day is quite a historic day, as it commemorates the day man first walked on the moon in 1969. No matter how many years pass, this will remain one of the most memorable in our history. So, after staring at the moon a moment or two longer, I am left with some serious inspiration this Monday morning. Enjoy a coastal inspired curation made up a few of my favorites from Bliss Home & Design. Oyster shell chandelier - Truly fresh design. The wonders of the sea and shore are brought indoors with the Stillwater Pendant. Strands of hand-selected oyster shells adorn a round wrought-iron frame deepened with a rich blacksmith finish. The

What a challenging week I just trekked through. We won't get too personal here, but then again, why not? We are all humans here, right? If you checked the "I am not a robot" box, then we're good to go. Husband left town for 6 days. An empty house sure does make you realize how much an extra body in the house can support a load at the end of a day without even saying words. Single Moms - you are saintly beings. The baby was on rare form. I found myself fact checking (yes, Googling) every possible reason that may be causing her to act like the neighbors kid. Turns out she's just "at that age." Well, "that age" ran me ragged and I even found myself questioning my motherly instincts - drama much
